Nursing Unit Secretaries:
Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time NUS position.
Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
Current Maine Health member employees are ineligible; former Maine Health Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Waldo County General Hospital | Maine Health is seeking a Nursing Unit Secretary to join our Emergency Department team in Belfast, Maine. In this fast-paced role, you will provide essential clerical and administrative support to clinical staff while helping ensure patients receive timely, coordinated care.
As a Nursing Unit Secretary, you will serve as a central point of communication for the department - assisting with patient flow, answering phones, coordinating information, entering orders, maintaining records, and supporting the care team in delivering exceptional patient experiences during urgent and emergent situations.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)High School diploma or GED preferred.
Certifications:
Current BLS certification preferred or may be required based on location.
One year of hospital or health care setting preferred.

The pay range for this position is $19.10to $22.53 per hour.
Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
