Middle School Level Teacher with Math/Science Focus ).
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Middle School Level Teacher who understands and practices the philosophy of middle-level education while bringing a strong background in math/science to the classroom. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to foster a supportive, engaging, and challenging learning environment for young learners during this critical stage of development.
Key Responsibilities- Teach math/science at the middle school level, focusing on inquiry‑based learning and hands‑on experiences that foster curiosity and critical thinking.
- Apply middle level teaching philosophy to create a classroom environment that supports the unique developmental needs of students ages 11-14.
- Encourage students to take an active role in their learning, integrating collaboration, creativity, and problem‑solving into lesson plans.
- Promote positive relationships with students, creating a safe and inclusive space for academic and social growth.
- Design and implement differentiated instruction that meets the diverse learning needs of all students.
- Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to ensure academic success and personal growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Math/Science, Education, or related field.
- Experience in middle school education, particularly with a deep understanding of the developmental and instructional needs of young adolescents.
- Strong background in math/science, with the ability to deliver engaging and rigorous science curriculum.
- Knowledge and application of middle level teaching philosophy, including a focus on building positive relationships, interdisciplinary connections, and student voice.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- A commitment to professional development and a passion for teaching and learning.
