Dean of Students

Belfast Area High School is seeking a dynamic educator to serve as Dean of Students. The Dean will collaborate with administration and staff to support student development, school culture, and the overall learning experience.

• Oversee student discipline and manage student conduct policies.
• Coordinate 504 accommodations and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Improve student attendance and monitor attendance data.
• Ensure the safety of staff and students.
• Support athletics and extracurricular clubs.
• Assist with Extended Learning Opportunities (ELOs).
• Facilitate successful transitions from middle school to high school and from high school to post‑secondary opportunities.

• Knowledge of or ability to learn School Law is a must.
• Certification as an assistant principal or higher encouraged (not required).
• Flexible schedule to meet supervision and support needs.
