RSU 71 is looking for a Music Education Teacher to work with students in three of the district’s elementary schools.
A successful candidate will:
- Be committed to students and their learning.
- Have experience implementing a comprehensive music curriculum for students in Pre‑K through 5th grade.
- Establish a learning environment in which students are safe, respectful, and responsible.
- Use differentiating approaches to meet individual student needs and engage all students in learning activities.
- Be a positive and collaborative team member in support of school improvement.
- Collaborate with district music education staff around music instruction curriculum planning.
- Hold Maine State Certification in Music Education (614).
Music Teacher (1 year position) Elementary School Level.
