- Must hold a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely allied field
- Or must be currently enrolled in such a program at the time of hiring
- Must be a Registered Mechanical Engineer (RME) or Professional Mechanical Engineer (PME) licensed by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC)
- At least 1 year of relevant teaching, research, or industry experience in the mechanical engineering discipline
- At least one (1) Scopus-indexed publication, or involvement in a patent application, industrial design or utility model registration relevant to the field
- Proficiency in CAD, simulation, and engineering software tools (e.g., Solid Works, ANSYS, MATLAB)
- Prior engagement in university-led R&D or extension projects is an advantage.
