- Must possess a Doctorate degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Must be a Registered Mechanical Engineer or Professional Mechanical Engineer (PME) licensed by the PRC
- Must have served at least three (3) years as Associate Professor (or equivalent)
- Must have accumulated a minimum of 5 years of relevant teaching, research, and/or professional experience
- Must have authored/co-authored at least 5 refereed journal publications, in Scopus or Web of Science-indexed journals
- Must have led or significantly contributed to externally funded research or technology development projects
- Patent applications, commercialized technologies, or industry consultancy are highly desirable
- Demonstrated leadership in curriculum development, faculty mentoring, quality assurance, or program accreditation (e.g., AUN-QA, CHED)
- Extensive service in academic governance and institutional development
- Active membership and involvement in relevant national or international engineering organizations (e.g., PSME, ASME)
- Proficiency in CAD, simulation, and engineering software tools (e.g., Solid Works, ANSYS, MATLAB)
