Today, we're looking for a Product Engineer who shares that same mindset.

This isn't a role where you'll sit behind a desk all day.
You'll design products, build prototypes, test performance, improve manufacturing processes, work directly with production teams, and help shape the next generation of products carrying the Mathews Brothers name.

- Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings
- Develop fabrication drawings for manufacturing, tooling, and process documentation
- Design enhancements to existing products and contribute to new product development initiatives
- Design components for in-house 3D printing and rapid prototyping
- Support product innovation from concept through implementation
- Conduct physical and simulated product testing
- Participate in air infiltration, water penetration, and structural performance testing using our on-site test wall
- Analyze test data and develop engineering solutions
- Support product certification and performance validation efforts Manufacturing & Process Improvement
- Develop layouts for equipment, production flow, and manufacturing operations
- Support production teams through technical troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and manufacturability
- Assist with tooling development and production improvements
- Investigate non-conforming materials and product concerns
- Provide technical support to internal teams
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the organization
- Maintain engineering documentation and product specifications
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Self-motivated with a collaborative team-oriented mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, Solid Works, or similar CAD software
- Manufacturing or production engineering experience
- Experience with 3D printing technologies and design for additive manufacturing
- CNC machining and G-code programming knowledge
- Thermal modeling experience
- Experience with in the window, door, fenestration, construction, or building products industries
- Familiarity with product testing, validation, and continuous improvement practices
