GMP Equalisation Specialist

Location: Belfast

About the Role: We are currently seeking a qualified actuary to join our GMP Equalisation team. We have a unique approach to solving the problems around GMP and are looking for technically minded people to join our large GMP team. Previous experience in GMP calculations is an advantage, but a desire and ability to grasp complex actuarial concepts and find solutions to them is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and signing off on complex actuarial models and calculations
  • Reviewing written advice to clients on this topic
  • Delivering that advice to clients in meetings (if desired)
  • Regular liaison and communication with the GMP team, client team and other departments in XPS
  • As the GMP projects wind down, taking on wider technical career opportunities involving technical focused avenues
  • Opportunity to get involved in specialist research and development teams in areas that interest you

Qualifications:

  • FIA qualification
