EZ Living Furniture is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our new Belfast Store. We are a family-run Irish retailer with a nationwide presence and a full online shopping experience. We are the largest independent furniture retailer in Ireland, employing over 350 people.

Assistant Store Manager with a strong retail sales background to join and lead our dynamic team in the new Belfast Store. The successful candidate will support a team of sales staff to reach and exceed personal and company targets, while ensuring day-to-day activities for the smooth running and development of the store are completed. The role requires a proven sales ability, excellent organisational and communication skills, and a genuine desire to deliver a first-rate customer experience.

• Demonstrate a highly determined drive for sales, always leading by example.
• Continuously communicate with and motivate the team.
• Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
• Act as the first point of contact for the store when liaising across internal departments.
• Continuously coach the team to ensure product knowledge, company policies and brand values are reviewed and applied.
• Lead people-management activities, working in liaison with HR and senior management.
• Complete regular reports for senior management.

• Exceptional communication and coaching skills
• A proven people manager and team player
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to learn in-house systems quickly
• Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Furniture experience is beneficial but not essential
• Ability to use initiative and escalate issues to senior management when appropriate
