Are you an experienced Registered Manager and passionate care professional looking for a rewarding leadership role?

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Manager to join our clients team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and young people in their care, based in Oswestry, Shropshire.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for young people.

Develop positive relationships with young people, colleagues, and professionals.

Collaborate effectively with team members to deliver high-quality care and achieve positive outcomes.

Motivate and encourage young residents to engage in activities, education, and extracurricular pursuits.

Lead staff teams with expertise and enthusiasm in a residential childcare setting.

Display comprehensive knowledge of child development and an appreciation for the needs of children and young people.

Maintain meticulous records and documentation, keeping them up-to-date for managerial review.

Adapt working practices to align with the home's ethos.

Exhibit resilience, motivation, and determination in challenging situations.

Foster an inclusive environment for all children and young people.

Possess a Diploma Level 5 qualification.

Essential Criteria:

Minimum of 3 years' experience working with children and young people in a residential environment, including 2 years at a senior level.

Familiarity with OFSTED inspections and capability to attend professional meetings effectively.

Experience in preparing formal reports and contributing to the professional network.

Up-to-date knowledge of current sector legislation and experience as a Registered Manager within a social care setting.

Comprehensive knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and residential children's homes standards.

Commitment to personal development and pursuit of further qualifications.

Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, sleep-ins, and participation in the 'On-Call-Manager' rota.

Proficiency in safe holding and physical intervention techniques.

Valid full UK driving licence.
