Project Lead, Child Care​/Nanny, Child Development​/Support

Craft NI is seeking a project lead with experience in creative events to work with us and our partner, Design & Crafts Council Ireland, to promote August Craft Month across the island of Ireland in 2026. Join us in this annual celebration of craft on the island!

August Craft Month has been running in Northern Ireland since 2007 and aims to promote craft activities organised by individual craft makers, NI Councils, independent venues, craft collectives and societies during the month of August each year. A successful and vibrant summer festival in Cork is also well established and since 2023, Craft NI and DCCI have partnered to grow and promote this annual festival of craft across the island of Ireland, allowing makers, audiences and visitors to the island to Buy, See and Make local craft.

During this six month part‑time role, you’ll work closely within a supportive partnership team from Craft NI and DCCI, led by Craft NI’s Director and with support in comms and maker engagement from both organizations, as well as external PR support.
