Events Catering Assistant

THE EMPLOYER IS: FALLS COMMUNITY COUNCILAs an Event Catering Assistant you will serve food and drinks to event attendees, as well as various other tasks related to food preparation and hospitality.

• Clean and sanitising of all tableware before catering events.
• Loading and unloading food, tableware and catering supplies on and of catering vehicles.
• Food and drinks service.
• Assist with the preparation of dining areas.
• Disposal of food waste in line with working protocols.
• At the end of events: removing dishes and loading dish washers.
• Emptying dish washers and storing dishes and cutlery in designated cupboards and drawers.
• Cleaning of kitchen appliances.

• Open to training progression both in house on off site.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Demonstrate a willingness to take instruction.
• Communicate clearly.
• Maintain a clean working environment.
• Previous experience as a catering assistant or similar position.
• Hospitality skills.
