Whatis the job?
This crucial role is part of a dynamic, fast‑paced environment. As Chef De Partie you will manage the day‑to‑day running of your section, assist the Head or Executive Chef in ensuring food preparation, production and service meet the highest standards and comply with food hygiene regulations.
Hours40 hours per week.

AboutThe Role
- Manage the general day‑to‑day running of your section
- Good understanding of HACCP/COSHH
- General cost and quality control for incoming and outgoing goods
- Ensure daily temperature readings are taken accurately
- Ensure kitchen equipment and fixtures are in good working order; no misuse
- Ensure cleaning schedules and hygiene checks are adhered to daily
- Ensure all food served meets menu specification standards
- Carry out the company’s relations policy and communicate hotel services to guests
- Wear clean, suitable uniform and maintain high standards of personal hygiene and grooming
- Uphold the equal opportunities policy for a neutral working environment
- Participate in training and personnel exercises to improve standards and performance
- Work in accordance with standard procedures within each department
- Keep staff/work areas tidy, safe and report any hazard, accident, loss or damage to management; observe Health & Safety Act (1989) requirements

Requirements Required Criteria- Experience with in a Chef de Partie/Chef role
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- NVQ qualification up to and including level 2 in Food Preparation
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment requiring flexible working and a genuine willingness to help guests and colleagues within the hotel
- Understanding of COSHH
- Hygiene Certificate
- 5 GCSEs at grade C and above or equivalent qualification
- Experience with in the hospitality industry
