We are looking for a Chef to assist the opening and ongoing success of the dual-branded Aloft & Residence Inn by Marriott in Belfast’s iconic Titanic Quarter, opening in 2026.

This is a unique opportunity to assist in the launch of two of Marriott’s most dynamic brands—Aloft, known for its bold design and social energy, and Residence Inn, crafted for longer stays and residential comfort—in one vibrant destination.

As Head Chef, you will direct the safe and efficient daily operation of the hotel kitchen. The position oversees the development and implementation of departmental strategies and ensures implementation of the brand service strategy and brand initiative

• Assist in all pre‑opening activities:
  Build, lead, and inspire a high‑performing team with a focus on ensuring standard of excellence.
• Work in conjunction with the hotel management team to develop a strategic plan for the hotel.
• Monitor and ensure full HACCP compliance.
• Ensure all departmental areas are maintained and monitored in line with Marriott standards.

• Previous experience as a Chef in a branded hotel environment.
• Pre‑opening or conversion experience is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of delivering results across guest satisfaction, team engagement, cost control and financial performance.
