& Beverage Assistant

We are currently looking to recruit a Food & Beverage Assistant.

The successful candidate must be enthusiastic, dedicated and be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills. You will be working throughout the various departments including Conference and Events, Restaurant & Bar. This position is full‑time over 7 days including weekends, evenings & Bank Holidays. Due to the location of the property, valid driver’s licence and own transport is essential. Bar experience will be preferred.

Hotel Reception Supervisor

The successful candidate must be
  • Deliver outstanding guest service and ensure all reception staff provide a warm, professional welcome
  • Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints efficiently, ensuring issues are resolved to the highest standard
  • Train, develop, and motivate the reception team to deliver exceptional service
  • Set schedules, allocate tasks, and monitor performance to maintain operational efficiency and staff morale
  • Liaise with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless guest services
  • Ensure all front office policies, procedures, and safety standards are adhered to by staff
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver the highest standards of service to our guests consistently, in line with the SOPs and brand philosophies
  • Build genuine rapport with our guests to deliver unique levels of service whilst remaining professional at all times
  • Support your colleagues
  • Complete individual and group tasks to the correct and highest standards
  • Ensure professional behaviour to all people associated with the business at all times including suppliers, and other businesses in the area, particularly within the local community
Guest Service, Operation and Product
  • Your role will include reception or reservations shift‑work, including report running, auditing and shift closure
  • To assist guests with luggage
  • Work to the checklists provided in your department, understanding and supporting their importance
  • You will be required to have a full understanding of all that the hotel has to offer its guests, this is not limited to rooms it will also include other experiences and facilities
  • Be a team player – understand your colleague’s role and tasks and how your actions influence the rest of the operation
  • Adhere to the uniform standards at all times including high levels of personal hygiene
