As a Bar Staff member at Sodexo, located in RAF Brize Norton, Carterton
, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment for our customers, particularly the armed forces personnel we serve. This role is all about making genuine connections and delivering excellent service to those who rely on us to enhance their daily experience. If you’re a friendly, approachable individual with great communication skills, you’ll thrive in this customer-facing role!

• Provide professional service of beers, wines, spirits and other beverages
  .
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
• Handle cash, stock and customer chits accurately and securely.
• Follow liquor licensing, Health & Safety and Food Safety requirements.
• Keep the bar, cellar and surrounding areas clean and tidy.
• Clear glasses, crockery and cutlery and maintain a welcoming bar area.
• Assist with stock checks, deliveries and stock replenishment.
• Complete required cash and stock records at the end of each shift.
• Support formal functions and temporary bars when required.
• Carry out cellar duties, including stocking, changing barrels and pipe cleaning.
• Report any accidents, near misses, faulty equipment or stock discrepancies.
• Attend team meetings, training and development sessions.
• Carry out other reasonable duties as requested by management.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Good numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety and Food Safety.
• Professional, reliable and well-presented.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Must be 18 or over

Previous experience in a bar, hospitality or service environment. Experience with in a military environment would be an advantage.
