We are seeking a reliable and experienced Roofer to install, repair, and maintain roofing systems on residential and commercial properties. You'll work with a variety of materials including shingles, metal, tile, slate, and flat roofing systems, ensuring high-quality, watertight finishes that meet all safety and building standards.

Position: Roofer

Location: Belfast

Duration: Temporary to Permanent

Pay Rate: £17.50 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm (on call once every 8 weeks with additional payments)

• On call payments

• Installing, repairing, and replacing roofing systems
• Inspecting roofs for damage, leaks, and structural issues
• Removing old roofing materials and preparing surfaces
• Measuring, cutting, and fitting materials accurately
• Installing flashing, underlayment, and weatherproofing systems
• Ensuring all work complies with building codes
• Following strict safety procedures and using protective equipment
• Maintaining tools, equipment, and a clean worksite
• Communicating effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and customers

• Outdoor work in various weather conditions
• Physically demanding tasks including lifting, climbing, and standing for long periods

• Valid driver's license
• Roofing certification or apprenticeship is a plus
• Proven experience as a Roofer or in a similar construction role
• Knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and tools
• Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of safety regulations and procedures
