Construction Plant Fitter

PLANT FITTER - HEAVY PLANT MACHINERY An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Plant Fitter to join a global manufacturer of heavy construction equipment. This is a field-based role covering the Greater Belfast and Northern Ireland territory , offering strong earning potential, excellent benefits, and long-term career stability. THE COMPANY:
Our client is a leading international manufacturer of heavy plant and construction machinery , supplying premium equipment into construction, quarrying, and infrastructure sectors. THE ROLE:

As a Plant Fitter , you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing heavy plant equipment on customer sites.

Key responsibilities include:

Servicing and repairing diggers, excavators, loaders, dumpers, and associated heavy plant machinery Carrying out diagnostics and fault-finding on hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems Performing planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs Completing service reports and maintaining accurate documentation Delivering high levels of customer service on site Ensuring all work is completed in line with safety standards This is a field-based role covering Greater Belfast and wider Northern Ireland .

THE PERSON:
Our client is seeking candidates who:
Have experience working as a Plant Fitter, Plant Mechanic, Construction Equipment Technician, or similar Have strong knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and diesel systems Are confident diagnosing faults on heavy plant machinery Have experience working on excavators, loaders, dumpers, or similar equipment Hold a full clean driving licence

Experience with premium OEM equipment would be advantageous. THE PACKAGE:
