Multi Skilled Operative

General Overview

EQUANS are recruiting for a Multiskilled Operative to be based in Belfast. This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, van and fuel card and benefits package.

• Carry out various multi trade tasks to a high standard as instructed by the company including:
  • Grounds work
  • Carpentry/Joinery
  • Roof Works
  • Painting and Decorating
• Assist with the adherence to the Company quality standards including:
  • Compliance with specification
  • Compliance with materials / workmanship schedules
• Maintain and care for all company tools
• Use appropriate safety equipment
• Wear appropriate clothing / uniform
• Ensure areas of work are left clean and tidy at the end of the day
• Liaise with the client, consultants, contract administrator, head office etc
• Material co‑ordination
• Ensure accurate / timely completion of any relevant site‑based documentation
• Keep the site clean and tidy at all times
• Take responsibility for and care of the company van in accordance with the company car policy
• Hold keys for communal entrances, meter cupboards and allow access where appropriate
• Load and unload deliveries
• Any other reasonable management request

• Previous trades experience
• Valid CSR card
• Up to date relevant industry related knowledge
• Understanding of social housing / local government
• Up to date relevant knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
• Current and Valid Full & Clean UK driving licence
