Are you a skilled Joiner with a passion for high-quality craftsmanship? We're looking for a reliable professional to join our team and deliver exceptional bespoke joinery across a range of projects.

As a Joiner
, you'll be responsible for manufacturing, assembling, and installing high-quality woodwork and fittings. Working with timber and other materials, you'll produce bespoke joinery that meets exact specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Position: Joiner

Location: Belfast

Duration: Temporary to Permanent

Pay Rate: £17.50 per hour

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm (on call once every 8 weeks with additional payments)

Responsibilities
  • Measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling timber and timber-based materials
  • Manufacturing and installing doors, windows, staircases, cabinets, and bespoke joinery
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
  • Using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely and effectively
  • Carrying out repairs, maintenance, and alterations to existing joinery
  • Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within agreed time frames
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Complying with all health and safety regulations
  • Working independently or as part of a team and liaising with other trades as required

Essential Criteria
  • Proven experience as a Joiner or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques and materials
  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings
  • High attention to detail and craftsmanship
  • Competence using hand and power tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Effective time and workload management
Desirable Criteria
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry and Joinery (or equivalent)
  • CSCS card (for site-based work where required)
  • Completed apprenticeship in Joinery or Carpentry
