Tower Crane Supervisor

IMMEDIATE START – Experienced Tower Crane Supervisor

We are looking for a Tower Crane Operators to work within our Resource Team at various projects across the UK. They will be responsible for the safe operation of our Tower Cranes.

• Ensure that all Lifting Operations have been planned and are undertaken in accordance with the agreed Safe System of Works including, but not exhaustive;
  Schedule of Lifts, Lift Plan, Method Statements, Risk assessments, appendices to the Lift Plan and all registered Briefings/Toolbox Talks.
• To direct and supervise lifting operations to conform with the method statement, intervening to stop operations if health and safety, or approved methodology, is compromised.
• Ensure that all lifting equipment and accessories undergoes thorough examination, testing, and complies with statutory inspections and examinations.
• Execute risk assessments, method statements, and ensure the lift plan is fully authorised and communicated to all team members prior to operational commencement.
• Collaborate with the lifting team to ensure operations are in strict accordance with legal requirements, safeguarding and the well-being of all personnel and affected parties.

  Certifications:
  
  Crane and Lifting Operations Supervisor, Slinger/Signaller
• Experience: Previous experience Supervising and Co-ordinating Tower Cranes
• Safety Awareness: Awareness and understanding of LOLER 1998, PUWER 1998, BS7121, Rigging and Slinging calculations and methodology.
• Effective Communication: Clear, concise communication skills; able to lead and communicate with the Lifting Team, Contractors and Site Management.
