Maintenance Electrician

Your new company An exciting position has opened up with one of Northern Ireland's largest hospitality companies. Your new role All aspects of maintenance required to maintain the running of the hotel and licenced properties as required working as part of a small team of maintenance engineers. You will be required to work 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday three weeks of the month On the fourth week you will be required to work a weekend, followed by a week of late shifts 10am to 6pm.

You will have two days of your choosing the previous week off. For your weekend and week of on-call there is a company vehicle provided in case of call-outs out of hours. Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and equipment. Diagnose and repair electrical faults throughout guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, leisure facilities, and back-of-house operations. Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical installations.

Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with current electrical regulations and health & safety standards. Maintain records of completed works, inspections, and maintenance activities. Liaise with external contractors and service providers as required. Assist with general building maintenance tasks when necessary. Participate in an on-call rota and provide out-of-hours support when required.

Ensure minimal disruption to hotel guests during maintenance activities. What you'll need to succeed Qualified time served Electrician Proven experience within a maintenance environment (minimum 3 years desirable five years). Ideally within the hospitality service sector. Good I.T. Skills Good communication skills Attention to detail Ability to resolve problems and adhere to health and safety guidelines Ability to deal with other contractors or maintenance staff and various Heads of Departments Resourceful and self-motivated Able to work as part of a team or on your own initiative Required to work a weekend every 4 weeks.
