Were seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Handyperson to join the maintenance team at Beannchor one of the largest hospitality groups in Northern this hands-on role you will play a key part in maintaining the high standards of our customer-facing areas and back-of-house facilities by carrying out a wide range of maintenance repair and upkeep tasks across our venues.

Hours:

32 per week (4 days)

Please note that this role will require the successful candidate to work closely with the wider maintenance team to complete planned and reactive maintenance work across our portfolio of city centre venues including Bullitt Hotel The National The Dirty Onion Ulster Sports Club and The Merchant Hotel.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance and repair tasks across guest rooms public areas and service areas
• Undertake minor plumbing joinery painting decorating and basic electrical maintenance where appropriate
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure facilities remain in excellent condition
• Work closely with the Maintenance Manager to prioritise and schedule work effectively
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety standards
• Maintain a clean organised and safe working environment
• Assist with setting up and supporting venue projects refurbishments and improvement works as required

What Were Looking For

Essential

• Proven experience in a general maintenance handyperson or facilities maintenance role (minimum 2 years preferred)
• Practical skills across a range of trades including basic plumbing joinery decorating and general repairs
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to maintenance issues
• Good understanding of health and safety practices
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Friendly professional attitude with a team-oriented mindset
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends if required
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable

• Relevant trade qualification (e.g. City & Guilds NVQ or equivalent)
• Experience working within a hospitality hotel or commercial environment
• Basic electrical or plumbing qualifications
• IPAF PASMA or other relevant maintenance certifications
