Salary: £35-45,000 dependent on experience

Laboris Solutions are working with a long standing client that help protect buildings and structures from water ingress and flooding.
They're looking for an experienced Electrical Field Service Engineer to join their team and take responsibility for the installation, maintenance, fault-finding and servicing of their bespoke systems across customer sites.
The RoleAs an Electrical Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring systems remain operational, reliable and safe. You will carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive breakdown repairs and electrical fault-finding on a range of systems.
The role will involve regular travel to customer sites across the south east, with the opportunity to work on a varied range of commercial, industrial and residential projects.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned preventative maintenance on a variety of systems.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults
- Install, commission and test new pumping systems and electrical controls.
- Fault-find using electrical testing equipment and diagnostic techniques.
- Maintain and repair control panels, float switches, sensors and associated electrical equipment.
- Inspect systems and identify potential failures before they occur.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and carry out reactive maintenance.
Complete service reports, maintenance records and job sheets accurately. - Liaise professionally with customers and provide clear updates on works carried out.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with relevant electrical and health & safety standards.
- Identify opportunities for system improvements, replacement equipment or additional works.
- Work closely with the wider team to deliver projects and maintenance contracts.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced electrical engineer with strong practical fault-finding skills and experience working in a field-based environment.
You should have:- Electrical engineering or electrical maintenance experience.
- Experience fault-finding electrical systems.
- Experience working with motors or mechanical/electrical systems.
- The ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
- A methodical approach to diagnosing faults.
- Good customer-facing and communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- A full UK driving licence.
- A strong commitment to health & safety.
