- Commutable from Farnham, Basingstoke, Winchester, Aldershot Are you an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical Technician looking for a varied role within a specialist industrial environment? Our client is looking for an Instrumentation & Electrical Technician to join their maintenance team, supporting the safe and efficient operation of production and gas plant facilities. You'll be responsible for routine and non-routine maintenance, servicing instrumentation and control equipment, responding to breakdowns, supporting new installations and working alongside specialist engineers and contractors.

The Role
* Carrying out routine and non-routine maintenance and repairs
* Servicing process control instrumentation including transmitters, controllers and analysers
* Maintaining site services and equipment to a safe working standard
* Responding to out-of-hours plant breakdowns where required
* Carrying out equipment isolations to permit requirements
* Supporting installation and commissioning of new plant
* Working with specialist engineers and contractors
* Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety The Candidate
* 4-5 years' relevant maintenance experience
* Instrumentation qualification - Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3
* Good working knowledge of electrical systems
* Understanding of the oil & gas industry
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Able to plan and prioritise effectively
* Reliable, proactive and able to work under pressure
* IT literate and confident communicating with colleagues and contractors What's in it for you?
