About the RoleDue to continued growth, we are seeking a Compartment Fire Surveyor to support a growing portfolio of projects across the UK.
We work with housing associations, local authorities, contractors, healthcare providers, education establishments, and commercial clients, delivering high-quality passive fire protection services nationwide.
Role Responsibilities:- Conducting detailed compartmentation inspections
- Ability to work in confined spaces such as loft areas
- High attention to detail
- Dealing with the public/residents
- Ability to mock up floor plans for loft compartmentation details
- Measuring compartment breaches and identifying service types
- Being able to read floor plans and compartmentation drawings
- Accurately explaining fire stopping breaches and being able to Provide fire stopping solutions
- Full UK Driving License
- Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection (or equivalent) for fire stopping surveyors
- IFE certificate Level 2 +
- Proven experience in conducting fire stopping inspections
- Strong understanding of current fire safety regulations and compliance standards
- Ability to produce clear, accurate survey reports
- Good written and spoken English
- Ability to work unsupervised
