Business Analyst

Position: Cegeka - Business Analyst
Location: Antwerpen

For one of our clients in the insurance sector, we are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a team focused on the transformation of Front-Office solutions used by brokers and partners.

In this role, you will bridge business needs and IT solutions, helping to shape high-quality digital experiences within the non-life insurance domain.

Your responsibilities

Gather, analyze and document business requirements

Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements

Facilitate workshops with stakeholders and subject matter experts

Model business processes and create clear, structured documentation

Collaborate closely with business representatives, UX teams, developers and offshore teams

Ensure alignment between business objectives and delivered solutions

Contribute to the successful delivery of projects within scope, budget and timeline

Work within an Agile environment and participate in related ceremonies

Your profile

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst within the insurance industry

Strong knowledge of non-life insurance products and processes

Proven experience in requirements gathering, analysis and functional documentation

Experience working in Agile teams

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Customer-focused and comfortable engaging with multiple stakeholders

Fluent in Dutch and proficient in English

Nice to have

Experience with broker portals or Front-Office applications

Knowledge of underwriting and/or claims processes

Experience with BPMN, UML and use case modelling

Strong interest in user experience (UX) and customer journeys
