Client Advisor Wealth Management - Latem

Location: Deurle

As a Client Advisor you will be responsible for building an optimal and appropriate client service and experience, with the aim of achieving the objectives and expectations of our client families. You will act as a holistic client advisor, leveraging the bank’s value proposition across services such as investments, financial planning, estate planning and lending.
Key Accountabilities     Client Acquisition
Continuously identify and create new leads through the effective use of your network, targeting domestic prospects and managing the acquisition pipeline.
Deliver compelling acquisition speeches and cross‑pitch the bank’s value proposition, acting as a strong brand ambassador in the market and contributing to increasing the share of wallet of existing clients.

Client Relationship Management
Develop an outstanding understanding of each client family’s situation, financial position, investment objectives and risk profile; ensure needs are understood and met.
Actively mobilise the right specialists across the group to meet clients’ wealth management goals within their risk profile.
Maintain sustainable relationships through regular visits and contacts, actively approaching clients based on identified developments.
Drive revenues and other commercial objectives through long‑term, proactive relationship management based on trust and distinctive service.

Investment Advice
Be knowledgeable on all investment products and markets, determine risk profiles in consultation with clients, set objectives and discuss performance.
Advise on the choice of investment strategy, portfolio design and composition, and report on performance and service delivery.

Risk Management
Act as the first line of defence risk manager, proactively managing financial, compliance, operational and cross‑border risks.
Ensure new and existing clients are in line with strategy, risk appetite and internal quality standards.
Guarantee that all client‑related operations comply with regulatory and internal policy requirements.
Model business ownership and responsibility for risk management, upholding high ethical standards in all interactions.

Knowledge And Experience     Master’s Degree in Finance
Extensive experience in a commercial, banking or financial environment
Knowledge of general banking laws and regulations, market regulations and compliance procedures related to investment advice
Knowledge of order and execution processes for securities, including trading and investment products and services
Attributes and Qualities     Think and behave like a business owner or entrepreneur, embodying the bank’s values
Be client‑focused, delivering best‑in‑class service and independent advice
Create a partnership culture within teams and collaborate across all functions to deliver the overall client proposition
Work effectively with the Investment and Client Solutions team, CIO, Business Risk and Compliance to find the best solutions for clients
Support and encourage others to generate a positive working culture, sharing information across functions
Possess strong analytical, critical thinking and commercial skills
Technical Skills     Proficient use of MS Office
Languages Skills     Fluent in Dutch and English (mandatory)
