Lead the Growth of an Ambitious Bedding Business Unit Are you an entrepreneurial commercial leader with a passion for business development, retail, and international growth? Do you thrive on building teams, developing new markets, and creating long-term partnerships?
To support the continued expansion of our bedding activities, we are looking for a Business Unit Manager who will take full commercial responsibility for our operations across Belgium, France, and the United Kingdom.
This is not a traditional management role. We are looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and who is eager to help shape the future of a growing business unit.
Your Mission As Business Unit Manager, you will be responsible for driving the commercial growth and strategic development of our bedding business.
You will work closely with sales, product development, production, and senior management to identify opportunities, strengthen market positioning, and expand our customer base across multiple European markets.
Your focus will be on building sustainable growth through strong customer relationships, market intelligence, and commercial leadership.
Key Responsibilities Commercial Strategy & Market Development Define and implement the commercial strategy for Belgium, France, and the UK.
Identify new market opportunities and growth segments.
Develop strategic partnerships with retail chains and key accounts.
Monitor market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive developments.
Drive initiatives that strengthen market presence and business performance.
Leadership & Team Development Lead, coach, and develop the commercial team.
Create a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Support sales teams in complex negotiations and strategic customer projects.
Act as a mentor and trusted advisor for team members.
Business Development Maintain direct involvement with strategic customers and prospects.
Negotiate and manage high-value commercial agreements.
Develop new business opportunities across existing and emerging markets.
Represent the company at trade fairs, industry events, and customer meetings.
Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Product Development, Marketing, Purchasing, and Operations.
Translate market insights into product and commercial opportunities.
Contribute to the ongoing development and professionalization of the business unit.

Your Profile Required Experience Minimum 8–10 years of commercial experience in a B2B environment.
Proven track record in business development and key account management.
Experience developing international markets.
Previous leadership experience managing, coaching, or mentoring commercial teams.
Strong commercial and analytical skills.
Fluent in English and French.
Willingness to travel regularly across Europe.
