We are therefore looking for a driven and experienced Accountant who is fluent in Dutch and French. Someone who will not only ensure a strong financial foundation but also contribute to the further professionalisation of our organisation.

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of the accounts and will support the monthly and annual closing processes. You will work closely with the Finance Manager and your colleagues within Finance, contributing to efficient and reliable financial operations.

In addition to your daily accounting responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to contribute ideas for process improvements and the further professionalisation of our financial organisation.

• Take responsibility for the accurate processing of the general accounts.
• Process and verify purchase and sales invoices.
• Follow up on payments, bank transactions and suppliers.
• Manage balance sheet accounts and perform periodic reconciliations.
• Prepare and support monthly and annual closing processes.
• Prepare VAT returns and other tax obligations.
• Provide support during audits and statutory reporting.
• Help monitor financial results and variances.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow monitoring.
• Provide financial information and analyses to management.
• Safeguard the quality and accuracy of financial data.

• Help optimise financial processes and closing procedures.
• Contribute to the development of consistent working methods across different locations.
• Support effective internal controls and high-quality financial administration.

• Act as a point of contact for financial questions from the business.
• Work closely with operational managers.

• Actively support the continued growth of the company and its various locations.

• A bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance or an equivalent financial field.
• At least five years of relevant experience in an accounting role, including independent responsibility for the full accounting cycle.
• Thorough knowledge of general accounting, monthly and annual closings, VAT obligations and financial reporting.
• Experience with controlling or management reporting is an asset.
• Fluency in Dutch and French.
• You feel comfortable working in a growing organisation in which processes are continuing to develop and become more professional.
• You take ownership, work accurately and are comfortable accepting responsibility.
• You are a team player who enjoys working with colleagues from different departments.
• You are flexible and willing to participate in a limited team rotation, consisting of an average of one evening shift per week from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and one weekend shift every two weeks. In return, we offer the necessary flexibility in scheduling.
