Karpack focuses mainly on the fresh produce and food sectors but increasingly serves the industrial and retail markets as well. With over 60 employees and 50 to 60 temporary staff, Karpack Verpakkingen B.V. delivers from stock and supplies approximately 32 million fresh produce trays.
Karpack is an operating company within the BU Western Europe of Stora Enso. The parent company, Stora Enso, is a Finnish-Swedish company producing sustainable products in the fields of packaging, biomaterials, wood construction, and paper, and is one of the world’s largest private forest owners.
The BU Western Europe is a commercial and production organization consisting of 11 companies with a total of 1,300 employees in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and England.
As a Financial Administrative Assistant, you are responsible for a wide range of financial tasks. You will work closely with the Finance Team Lead and other departments within the company.
Your tasks include:
• Order processing
• Maintaining the article database
• Processing purchase and sales invoices
• Debtor and creditor management
• Preparing payments
• Supporting monthly and annual closings
• Handling complaints administration
• Identifying discrepancies and proactively thinking about improvements
• Assisting with reports and analyses
• A completed MBO or HBO degree in a financial field
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience
• Experience with accounting software
• Accuracy, a sense of responsibility, and a proactive attitude
• Good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written
