** About the Role
** As a Senior Merchandiser you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, ensuring marketplace readiness, and enabling a seamless consumer experience across key digital channels. In close partnership with planning, logistics, commercial, digital operations, and marketplace teams, in this role you will ensure that product, data, and inventory come to life with precision across all platforms.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Build and deliver the seasonal assortment strategy in partnership with cross‑functional teams, guided by relevant business KPIs.
* Represent the consumer by identifying growth opportunities and shaping a seasonally aligned commercial calendar and product narrative.
* Develop product stories and loyalty/exclusive assortments that support sustainable, profitable growth and strengthen consumer engagement.
* Provide insight‑led recommendations for seasonal briefs, identifying product gaps and supporting local development when needed.
* Ensure consistent, integrated storytelling by aligning product strategies and consumer journeys across teams.
* Optimize product presentation and commercial execution during key moments to maximize impact.
* Lead weekly business performance reviews and translate insights into pricing actions, in‑season adjustments, and trading decisions.
* Manage in‑season trading actions—including slow mover management, product launches, and inventory optimization—to protect full‑price performance and drive incremental gains.
* Ensure strong go‑to‑market execution and seasonal flow in alignment with global guidelines.
* Maintain range plans, line plans, directives, and PLM tools in collaboration with Merch Ops and analytics partners.
* Present product strategies with clarity and inspiration, building strong alignment across partners.
* Identify new business opportunities that support strategic priorities and reinforce brand leadership within key categories.
* Champion company values and support team development through coaching, knowledge sharing, and cross‑functional collaboration.
* Stay closely connected to consumer trends, product performance, and retail KPIs to influence future assortments and strategic decisions.
** About You
*** Strong knowledge of merchandising, apparel market dynamics, pricing, margins, and core retail KPIs.
* 3–5 years of merchandising experience, ideally within the apparel industry and in assortment strategy or buying.
* Experience working with modern business models and tools, including cross‑functional collaboration and consumer‑journey‑based storytelling.
* Experience with digital merchandising, online assortment building, or platform‑based consumer journeys is a plus but not required.
* Trend‑aware with strong fashion sense and an understanding of diverse consumer targets.
* Excellent analytical, numerical, communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
* Proficient in MS Office and analytical tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
* Curious, collaborative, and passionate about product; willing to travel 10–20%.This is ahybrid position based in our Brussels office. You will be expected to be in the officethree days per week, though time in office may vary depending on business needs.
The expected starting salary range for this role is € 66,000 – € 88,000 per year. The amount a employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and our needs.
