Job Description About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join DP World as part of a newly established and growing Global Bid Management function. The role plays a critical part in enabling sales teams to operate more effectively, efficiently, and successfully by providing robust processes, tools, insights, and commercial support.
This role supports strengthening bid governance, CRM discipline, commercial reporting, training excellence, and customer insight across the region.
Key Accountabilities Bid Management- Own the day-to-day operation of bid management processes within Logistics, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and sales effectiveness.
- Continuously develop and enhance bid management processes within existing business constraints.
- Manage CRM-driven opportunity tracking, providing accurate status, reporting, and visibility on all bids and related activities.
- Design and deliver a strategic, scalable approach to training on bid management processes.
- Ensure all sales colleagues understand, adopt, and consistently apply the correct bid management practices.
- Deliver onboarding training for new sales team members and refresher training for experienced sales professionals.
- Create and deliver engaging, professional, interactive, and informative training materials.
- Track and maintain accurate records of training completion to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Build and manage the regional commercial reporting suite used in Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews (M /Q ).
- Drive CRM data quality and accuracy, implementing processes that highlight gaps and support sales leadership in corrective action.
- Ensure commercial reporting provides clear insights into pipeline health and performance.
- Establish and lead a customer engagement framework to capture the Voice of the Customer.
- Analyse learnings from unsuccessful bids and proposals.
- Feed insights back into the business to continuously improve future bid effectiveness and customer outcomes.
- Manage quarterly sales incentive processes for Contract Logistics new business wins.
- Partner closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely completion of incentive cycles.
- Manage annual Book of Business bonus calculations for relevant account managers.
- Act as a CRM champion, driving disciplined usage and best practice adoption across the sales organisation.
- Ensure CRM systems align with business processes and provide the visibility, accountability, and governance required for effective commercial management.
- Support commercial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities as required.
- Collaborate with Finance, HR, Commercial, and other internal functions to support future growth plans.
- Perform other related duties in support of regional and global commercial objectives.
- Undergraduate degree in Business or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Sales Support, Sales Operations, or Sales Management roles.
- Experience in supply chain, logistics, or contract logistics environments.
- Hands‑on experience with CRM systems.
- Experience managing sales incentive or commission programs.
- Exposure to forecasting, pipeline management, and quota management.
- Strong communication skills – communicates clearly, listens actively, and produces clear, high‑quality written and verbal content.
- Problem‑solving mindset – enjoys analysing challenges, identifying root causes, and creating practical, innovative solutions.
- Detail‑oriented – demonstrates strong attention to detail and consistently delivers high‑quality work.
- Critical thinking – able to identify gaps, challenge assumptions, and adapt quickly in dynamic environments.
- Collaborative and self‑directed – works effectively both independently and across multicultural, cross‑functional teams.
- Results‑oriented – manages competing priorities while meeting deadlines with a proactive, positive approach.
- Confidentiality – consistently protects sensitive commercial and company information.
- IT proficiency – advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with demonstrated experience managing CRM platforms.
- Flexibility to travel – willingness to travel approximately 10–30% to support regional commercial leadership.
- Languages – fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage.
