ResponsibilitiesThe European Service Academy Manager reports to the Global Compressed Air Service Academy Manager and works in close cooperation with Service Specialists, Technical Support, and Training functions within the European customer centers. The core mission of the role is to ensure that our people have the right competences and certifications.
Your responsibilities include:
- Overall management of the academy operations, including facilities, equipment, tools, and logistics.
- Implementing the Competence Development Process across the European customer centers.
- Facilitating the use of the academy by Service Specialists, Customer Centers, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Rolling out blended learning solutions such as videos, digital learning modules, virtual classroom sessions, and pre‑recorded virtual content.
- Designing and implementing the Train‑the‑Trainer program and developing structured learning content aligned with the target audience, prerequisites, and certification paths.
- Co‑ordinating the induction program for new employees in collaboration with Service Specialists and Customer Centers.
- Supporting Service Specialists in creating and improving technical training materials, considering different learning styles and methodologies.
- Continuously identifying future training needs based on expressed interests, feedback, and evolving business requirements.
- Cooperating with other regional academy managers on joint projects and initiatives, and defining and supporting both standard and custom learning journeys that align individual development with organisational goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent by experience.
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of service activities.
- Proven record of people management or team leadership.
- Experience in developing training programs is a strong asset.
- Excellent command of English and good knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, O365, SharePoint).
- Familiarity with e-learning tools (Articulate, SCORM) is a plus.

Location and Working ArrangementThis role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on‑site at the Atlas Copco Airpower site in Willebroek, Belgium (BE).
