Event Manager / Planner
Together with your experienced team, you ensure the flawless organization of any event. Will you help support events in the exhibition halls, the Meeting Center, and the outdoor areas?

As an operations employee at Flanders Expo:
- Are you the right hand of the event operations managers and do you report to the event operations supervisor?
- You actively participate in the technical preparation of events by, among other things, marking utilities on a floor plan.
- You assist with the setup and dismantling of events and manage a crew of stagehands on a project basis.
- You are responsible for setting up seminar rooms and providing technical/audiovisual support where necessary.
- You assist in the management of the building and report on its status before and after each event.
- Together with your colleagues, you anticipate the needs of the customer.
- Help contribute to efficient warehouse management.
- You enjoy working both in front of and behind the scenes and like working with a varied schedule, including evening and weekend work.
- You can demonstrate relevant experience of at least 2 years in a technical support role.
- You have basic knowledge of sound, video, and lighting techniques and show interest in innovations and trends within the industry.
- You have strong computer skills. Extra kudos for your knowledge of AutoCAD/Bricscad.
- You preferably received a technical education.
- You speak fluent Dutch. Knowledge of French and/or English is a plus.
- You are solution‑oriented, service‑minded, hands‑on, and flexible.
- You are in possession of a B driving license.
