We are looking for a Customer Service Specialist who is experienced, proactive, team player and communicative to join us in our Customer Service team, based in our EMEA headquarters office in Mechelen, Belgium
.
You will be working in a team that is dedicated to providing exceptional products and services, ensuring utmost customer satisfaction. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for the full follow-up of shipments ordered by our customers, optimizing timelines and quality of delivery, and providing all required shipping documentation.
How you will contribute- Be the first contact for our customers
- Prepare and follow up on the delivery flow of orders with agreed partners
- Coordinate the issuance of correct shipping documents to customers
- Handle logistics topics, including arranging transports via sea, air, and truck
- Keep customers and Sales Responsible informed about the status of orders, shipments, and delivery details
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints
- Collaborate with team members to improve overall customer service processes and standards
- Identify and solve issues with colleagues and other departments
- At least 1 year of experience in shipping documentation, logistics, and/or customs
- Accuracy and precision in administration
- Customer-oriented and commercial attitude
- Fluent in English; any other language is a plus
- Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Problem-solving skills with a process-oriented approach
- Proactive and initiative-taking
- Team player with a positive attitude, open-minded, and willing to learn and grow
- Strong MS Office skills; experience with SAP is an asset
