Learning Designer & Enablement Manager

Department: Platform Development

Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time

Location: EMEA

Description

The Learning Designer & Enablement Manager drives performance by building knowledge and closing the gap between knowing and doing. This role blends strategic learning design with practical on‑the‑job enablement to ensure that learning is not only understood, but able to be immediately applied in real‑world contexts with clients and colleagues. They architect end‑to‑end learning journeys that integrate skill development, high‑quality content, and tool proficiency – equipping teams to execute on key business propositions and strategic priorities.

They merge the principles of learning science with hands‑on enablement, creating experiences, playbooks, job aids, videos, and micro‑learning content that directly support and enable performance. Every learning asset is designed with a single intent: helping people achieve mastery and measurable results in their day‑to‑day work.

In essence, this role combines instructional design, platform and content ownership, and performance enablement - turning capability building into business impact.

In a nutshell:

The Learning Designer & Enablement Manager designs and delivers the learning journey – creating the content, tools, and experiences that turn knowledge into capability and strategy into execution.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Program Management

  • Own and maintain the global internal enablement calendar, ensuring alignment with the Portfolio Transformation roadmap and critical business milestones.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to sequence, prioritize, and execute global initiatives for each of our four regions, preventing change fatigue and maximizing adoption.

Global Platform Implementation & Experience

  • Lead the end-to-end rollout of a new global learning platform, serving as the bridge between technical implementation and human experience.
  • Drive engagement and retention through community features, social learning, and personalized user journeys; treat the platform as a product that requires ongoing optimization, not a one-time launch.

Accreditation Program Design & Curation

  • Design and scale a flagship accreditation program that moves beyond checkbox learning. This program requires learners to demonstrate applied proficiency through evidence‑based tasks and real‑world validation.
  • Design and own the process of creation (writing/developing), curation (licensing/partnering), and phased roll‑out of high‑quality content across six critical pillars:
    • Consultative Mindset & Behaviours:
Showing up as a consultant to create clarity and confidence for decision making.
    • Marketing Fundamentals & Expertise:
Skills that frame client challenges via marketing hypotheses and outcomes in the Brand, Innovation, and Experience space.
    • Uncovering insights (called The Human Spark at Human8):
      Abilities in uncovering insights.
    • Communities, Closeness, Culture:
Competence in applying some of our flagship offers of Communities, Closeness, and Culture.
    • AI Tools & Workflows, and research methodologies:
Competence in applying and using our AI tools and workflows, and other research methodologies.
    • Our Positioning:
Clarity and application of why we exist.
  • Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to train them on content creation (how to codify tacit knowledge into scalable learning assets) and support their own efforts to execute relevant global initiatives.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • 5+ years of experience within a research, evidence‑based consultancy, or marketing agency environment. You understand the pace, the language, and the commercial pressures and realities of professional services as well as the role of research, insights, and evidence in best‑in‑class strategy.
  • Marketing fundamentals: You have a grasp of marketing fundamentals and the disciplines of brand strategy, communication and creative, innovation, and / or experience.
  • A Consultant, not just an Executor: You diagnose root causes before prescribing solutions. You listen for what is impeding performance and design interventions that address the system, not just the symptom.
  • Culturally adaptable: Yo…
