- Perform doctoral research in EU Law within the areas of expertise covered by the Institute for European Law.
- Provide support to the teaching activities of the Institute: assisting professors with class preparation, exam preparation, teaching tutorials, supervising essays and theses, coaching moot courts in Leuven and teaching tutorials in Hasselt.
- Actively engage with the research activities of the Institute for European Law.
- Full ability to work in English.
- Master in Law with a strong focus on European Union Law.
- Demonstrable knowledge or experience in the field, high academic grades, international degrees or experiences, LL.M., and/or excellent knowledge of Dutch considered assets.

- Concise document (max. 2 pages) outlining preliminary directions for doctoral research.
