Location: Town of Belgium

As our Technical Training Officer, you will ensure that skeyes' technical services staff receive appropriate training and evaluations. Thanks to your efforts, they remain competent in a rapidly changing environment and actively contribute to safe air traffic.

What does a Training Officer do at skeyes?
  • You organise training courses for both new and existing employees. In doing so, you take into account legal requirements, internal regulations, needs expressed by management or individual needs.
  • You consult with the technical services about the timing, format and content of the training courses and translate their operational needs into concrete training documents and plans.
  • You monitor the training sessions, ensure quality and guarantee smooth implementation by coordinating with all parties.
  • You keep a close eye on who has received which training and what the objectives of the training were.
  • You promote the importance of technical training and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the training programmes and the maintenance of the high level of competence of the technical staff.
  • You are responsible for setting up, coordinating and following up on the Ongoing Competency Assessment (OCA) programme for technical employees.
  • You actively monitor the applicable rules and standards and propose adjustments to internal processes where necessary.
What makes you the perfect Training Officer?
  • You have an affinity with a technical context and experience with training and competence management.
  • You have strong organisational skills and an eye for detail and quality delivery.
  • You are familiar with a highly regulated environment and know how to explain complex regulations clearly.
  • You are naturally customer-oriented and consider it important to find solutions quickly.
  • You know how to set priorities, are good at planning and enjoy working with various stakeholders.
  • You have at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • The administrative side of the job does not deter you and you always work meticulously. You naturally keep aspects such as traceability and compliance in mind at all times.
  • You are willing to continuously develop your skills in the areas of training, learning, coaching, etc.
  • You speak and write English fluently and can express yourself in Dutch or French.
  • You have experience with tools such as SharePoint, Jira and training databases.
