Electrical projects site manager

For our subsidiary Westelec, we are looking for an experienced Site Manager to carry out exciting electrical projects in West Flanders.

Westelec is an SME (around 25 employees) specializing in the high-quality development of tertiary and industrial electrical projects: general electrical work, data cabling, security technology, care call systems, home automation, charging stations, renewable energy (PV installations, batteries), and medium voltage.

Your day starts in the morning in Ypres, where you pick up materials and have a (short) meeting with the project management team. You then head to your project in the region, where you have a varied role:

• placing orders with the warehouse
• monitoring of the schedule
• reading diagrams and technical drawings
• distribute work on the construction site
• monitoring the quality of implementation
• monitoring safe operation
• draw up a timesheet

You will be in close contact with the project manager and the customer.

• You have an education in industrial electricity.
• You have at least two years of experience in a similar role.
• You have knowledge of safety and quality standards.
• You are problem solving and stress resistant.
• You are a team player with a hands-on mentality.
• You have a technical understanding and are able to solve technical problems independently.
• You work in a structured manner and possess the necessary sense of responsibility.
• You have a very good knowledge of Dutch. French is a plus.
