Process Specialist – CdC Composite (H/F)
As a process specialist, your mission is to ensure the conformity of method’s and processes to manufacture the composite parts, in regards to the aeronautical/customers requirements. You will support the Composite unit in order to improve the productivity and competitivity.
Your role is also to participate in the definition and the validation of the new products and new manufacturing processes. You will be a technical referent during the new development including new aircraft program’s and R&T projects. You will participate in building the RC & NRC quotation’s requested during commercial proposals. You will in charge to realize the trade off between several composite industrial flows in order to identify the best option.
Based on your strong experience in Composite domain, you could lead some industrial project inside the Composite BU as a Manufacturing Leader. It will consist of piloting people in charge of Manuf. Engineering, NC Programming, Tooling so that allinputs are available to start the production.
You’ll be responsible of the following tasks:
- Analyze Customer specifications, create or modify internal procedures in accordance with these specifications, or possibly issue deviation requests;
- Provide technical support to production, particularly through operator training (processes, work procedures, audit preparation);
- Be a Composite process referent within the factory and with other departments;
- Put your skills at the service of Production to resolve technical problems, optimize our production processes and maintain our accreditations;
- Ensure technology monitoring and be a driving force for innovation;
- Manage and/or support Composite development projects aimed at improving our manufacturing processes (HLU, Injection, Pre-forming, Autoclave) or industrializing a new product within the group;
- Be the Composite manufacturing focal point within the project team;
- Coordinate a multidisciplinary team (Programmer, tooling engineer, quality engineer, etc.);
- Define the End-to-End manufacturing process;
- You hold an engineering degree with a materials science orientation and a composite orientation;
- You preferably have more than 5 years of experience in processes including composite materials;
- Experience in the industrialization of special processes including automation is an advantage;
- You are interested in the production environment;
- You are organized, autonomous, responsive and results-oriented;
- You speak French or English and have a very good knowledge of technical English;
- You easily use the tools of the Office suite and can consult CAD models on CATIA V5;
- You have a good spirit of synthesis and analysis;
- You have good communication skills and enjoy teamwork;
- You are diplomatic and communicate easily, you adapt your speech to different audiences.
