Driving innovation in automotive NVH

We believe real innovation happens when deep technical expertise meets collaboration and curiosity. If you are passionate about vehicle acoustics, vibration analysis, and shaping the next generation of transmissions, this role gives you the chance to make a tangible impact.

Your role

As an NVH Simulation Engineer
, you will focus on virtual NVH analysis to optimize gear and system-level designs. Your simulation expertise will directly support the development of next-generation transmissions. You will work on creating predictive models, validating them against test data, and helping design engineers achieve NVH targets across components and systems.

What you will do
  • Develop and maintain NVH simulation models for transmissions (gear whine, gear mesh excitation, rattle, torsional dynamics, structure-borne and airborne noise paths).
  • Perform modal, harmonic, and forced response analyses at component, subsystem, and system level.
  • Correlate simulation results with bench, rig, and vehicle test data and drive model improvements.
  • Support design optimization of gears, shafts, bearings, housings, and electric motors with NVH targets in mind.
  • Contribute to supplier technical reviews and validation activities related to NVH performance.
Who you are
  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in NVH CAE simulation within automotive driveline or powertrain development.
  • Hands‑on experience with CAE tools such as MASTA, Ansa, Abaqus, Nastran, and Excite M.
  • Solid understanding of vibration theory, acoustics, and signal processing.
  • Strong knowledge of transmission systems, gears, bearings, and rotating machinery.
  • Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary environment and able to communicate technical results clearly.
  • Curious, proactive, and passionate about advancing NVH solutions in complex automotive systems.
Why this role matters

You will contribute directly to next‑generation transmission design, helping make vehicles quieter, smoother, and more enjoyable to drive. Your expertise will bridge simulation and real‑world testing, ensuring technical excellence while pushing the boundaries of automotive NVH performance.

Why join us?
  • Work in an enthusiastic, internationally‑focused team tackling challenging automotive problems.
  • Access to cutting‑edge simulation tools and exposure to new technologies.
  • Professional environment that values creativity, initiative, and effective communication.
  • Attractive salary package with fringe benefits and congestion‑free workplace access.
Important note

Candidates from outside the EU need a valid Belgian work permit or permanent residence to apply for this position.
