YOUR TASKS

  • You will conduct research at the Energy & Systems Lab (EnSy) of Ghent University as part of the DLC:

    X.X project – Reducing the Design Fatigue Factor through Exploiting Structural Health Monitoring Data and Extending the Design Load Case Table.
  • Wind turbines are increasingly being controlled dynamically to accommodate the requirements of energy markets and the electricity grid. EnSy's research in this project focuses primarily on extending the Design Load Case Tables used in the design of (offshore) wind turbines to account for the dynamic control of wind turbines from the design phase.
  • Your research tasks will primarily fall within this EnSy focus area within the DLC:

    X.X project.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • You hold a Master’s degree in engineering or engineering technology, preferably in the field of electrical (power), electromechanical, energy or control engineering, or in an equivalent domain.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU

  • We offer you a contract of definite duration for the period of 2 years.
  • Your contract will start on 1 April 2026 at the earliest.
