Do you have a strong technical affinity and experience leading multidisciplinary projects? Elia Group is looking for driven Project Engineers to strengthen the team.

As a Project Engineer, you will be the key figure between the project leader and the engineering office. You will be responsible for the technical implementation of projects as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will safeguard the coherence and quality of designs and monitor the functionality of projects. You will take proactive measures to ensure that projects are delivered on time and in line with the scope agreed.

Your job responsibilities

• You will be actively involved in the entire project process, from the (conceptual) feasibility study through to project closure;
• You will be responsible for the technical aspect of projects and define the technical specifications for tenders and the outsourcing of studies. During the detailed study phase, you will inform designers of the technical project requirements, which will ensure that the scope agreed is actually observed. During the implementation phase, you will help the project leader solve specific technical problems;
• You will actively help develop the various processes during the start-up phase of our new organisation;
• You will proactively detect the consequences of new concepts on project work and report to the team lead.

• You have a Master's degree in Civil or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience;
• You have at least 2years’ experience in a similar position;
• A knowledge of electricity grids/Substations/Lines/ PAC (protection automation and control) would be an advantage;
• You have a good knowledge of Dutch, French and English;
• You have strong communication skills and a team-focused approach;
• You have the analytical ability to solve complex technical problems;

Salary: a competitive salary package, allowance for representation expenses, year-end bonus, double vacation pay, meal vouchers (€10 per working day), eco-vouchers, year-end vouchers as well as bonuses based on individual and group results.
