GEOxyz.euapply now### In search of a highly skilled and innovative USV Engineer to join our Innovation Department As an USV Engineer you will play a key role in advancing our capabilities in hydrography and aquatic drone technology.

Your responsibilities:
* Develop and optimize electromechanical systems for aquatic drones used in hydrographic surveys.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sensors, actuators, and communication systems into drone platforms.
* Work closely with software engineers, data scientists, and other team members to ensure seamless integration of electromechanical systems with software components.
* Collaborate with external partners, suppliers, and research institutions.
* Prepare comprehensive documentation for all design and development activities.
* Maintain accurate records of design iterations, testing results, and improvements.
* Ensure that all electromechanical systems comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
* Participate in certification processes and audits as necessary.### What do we expect from you?
* You have min 5 years of relevant experience.
* You have an engineering degree with preference to maritime industry or electrical/mechanical engineering.
* You have proven experience in electromechanical design.
* Knowledge of maritime environment or hydrographic survey techniques and equipment is a plus.
* You have a good knowledge of English and Dutch.
* Ability to multitask and manage several projects at a time.
* Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
* Time management skills to complete error-free work within the required timeframe.
* Communication skills in reading and writing for creating documentation and reports.
* Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop creative solutions.
