As Mission Equipment Technician, your main responsibility will be to perform (or supervise) the required preventive maintenance and repair activities of mission equipment (ME) when it is in between projects. You will report to the ME Engineer.
Responsibilities- Ensure proper conservation and state of readiness; ensure that mission equipment is ready for use and can contribute to an optimal production process.
- Perform repair activities, perform preventive maintenance activities, and process M&R activities in our ERP system (Maximo).
- Ensure safe & efficient deployment of people and equipment during technical activities, in line with company QHSE-S procedures and assume responsibility for safety in the technical work spaces.
- Ensure that people under your supervision (contractors) follow the safety rules during works and ensure adherence to the PTW system.
- Ensure proper housekeeping in technical areas.
- Assist the ME Engineer in maintaining a correct inventory of ME assets.
- Outsource & coordinate M&R activities to subcontractors where required and follow up on the execution of the works.
- Create and follow up necessary purchase requisitions for spare parts & services, carry out quality control at receipt, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Perform stock control of spares & consumables in a cost‑conscious way. Keep adequate stock of parts and maintain spare part lists of ME.
- Support operational teams during project preparation works and assist in transfer of equipment to vessels during mobilization periods (physically and digitally in our maintenance system Maximo).
- Perform off‑hire surveys when ME returns from operations and process the transfer from vessel to shore in the maintenance system.
- Strong technical background & education.
- Experience with hydraulics.
- Electrical & mechanical skills.
- Problem‑solving skills.
- Good coordinating & communication skills.
- IT skills – willing to learn and actively work with selected software programs (Maximo / OPS
