Junior Electronics Engineer

Our mission is supported by an ambitious vertically integrated approach: design & manufacture of small satellites combined with development of earth observation services.

Since its creation in 2018, the company has already grown substantially. Our team gathers more than 25 engineering expertise, from hardware design to software development & data science.

In 2025, Aerospacelab counts offices in Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium), Toulouse (France), Lausanne (Switzerland) and US West Coast with more than 350 full-time employees, with the ambition to position itself as the European leader in small satellites.

• Support electrical and electronics subsystem design for spacecraft missions,including power electronics, sensor interface, digital hardware and embedded software.
• Support all aspects of the development chain: specification, design, integration,test, operations, and maintenance
• Support design reviews to ensure requirements and interface compliance
• Workon digital and analog embedded hardware
• Develop test plans that ensure adequate testing of units and the complete system
• Workin a small growing team of electronics engineers in charge of the spacecraft electronics
• Bein contact with a multidisciplinary team of flight software, FPGAdevelopers and mechanical engineers

• MScin Electrical Engineering, Electro-mechanical Engineering or related field
• Nowork experience or a first work experience
• Abilityto work across the team and company to drive designs to completion
• Willingto learn
• Good communication
• Good English knowledge

• Apassion for technology and rapid execution of sophisticated space missions
• Experience with programming languages (e.g. Python, Java, C, C++,...)
• Experience with PCB design, assembly, debug and system level testing methodologies
• Proficiency with common industry electronic design software
