Power Electronics Expert
Based in the Electrical Cluster with about 35 colleagues, you will play a key role in both operational projects and research & innovation in power electronics for renewable energy integration.

- Lead and execute research and innovation projects in power electronics, especially for renewable energy integration (solar, battery).
- Provide technical consulting and expertise for clients—including design reviews, failure analysis, and testing of inverters and power modules.
- Develop and improve lab set‑ups for testing and monitoring power electronic systems.
- Combine practical lab work, simulations, and on‑site measurements.
- Mentor and support junior colleagues, and collaborate with international teams (Latin America and the Middle East).
- Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Master’s degree in electronics or electrical engineering (PhD is a plus).
- At least 5 years of hands‑on experience in power electronics (design, testing, simulation).
- Experience with inverter systems, control systems, and lab measurements.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a plus, Spanish is an asset.
- Comfortable mentoring others and working in a diverse, international team.
- Willing to travel occasionally (up to 10 days/year).
- Open, flexible, and eager to learn.
Main location:
Linkebeek (10 km from Brussels), with occasional travel within Belgium and Europe depending on projects.
