Team Lead Field Security Engineer

As a Team Lead Engineer, your duties will include:

• Quality execution of installations, projects and operations of the technology(s) within the team.
• Technical support to the team for more complex installations.
• Operational support to PMO in the implementation of projects.
• Knowledge management and transfer of knowledge within the team.
• Follow up on required certifications and ensure required documentation.
• Day-to-day management and monitoring of the team.
• Management of plant stock, equipment and safety regulations.
• Project-based management of facilities and projects, including resource planning and reporting.
• Collaboration with Project managers for project execution.
• Detect training needs, organize training and knowledge transfer.
• Supervision of team planning and ultimate responsibility for team billability.
• Daily management of the team and follow up on team activities.
• Follow up on tools, equipment and installation stock, including managing sparestock.
• Sensitizing the team in safety compliance and incident reporting.
• Monitoring policy, management systems and information security.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent through experience.
• Minimum:
  Secondary technical education with additional specialization in an IT/electronics/security field and work experience.
• Dutch-speaking, with minimum basic knowledge of English and French.
• VCA full (Safety, Health and Environmental Checklist Contractors).
• Knowledge of Genetec is a plus
• Knowledge of IT and networking
• Great knowledge of Camera Surveillance, Access Control, Intrusion and Fire Detection,... is necessary
• Experience with reporting tools.
• Good knowledge of IT tools such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience
• Knowledge of camera security, access control, intrusion and fire detection

• Knowledge of Genetec
