Junior mechanical design engineer

We are looking for a junior Mechanical Design Engineer who is eager to learn and grow.

To build a strong foundation, you will start your career with us as a trainee within the service department for up to two years. This hands‑on experience will allow you to gain in‑depth knowledge of our components, understand our customers and applications, and get to know our organization from within before transitioning into a design role.

• Install, commission, and support machines at customer sites
• Plan and execute installations in coordination with customers
• Perform maintenance and troubleshoot technical issues on‑site
• Handle reporting, administration, and internal feedback
• Design and develop machines from concept to production
• Work on engineering, prototyping, testing, and validation
• Ensure quality, cost, and timeline objectives
• Collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders (±10% travel)
• Contribute innovative ideas to improve products and performance
• Actively participate in brainstorming and concept development

• Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering
• Strong technical knowledge (electromechanics)
• Eager to learn and continuously improve
• Autonomous, but a true team player
• Hands‑on, proactive, and customer‑orientated mindset
• Fluent in Dutch and English
• Flexible: up to 80% travel during the first 2 years, then ±10%
